Hello: My heart goes out to you! My husband and I are in the process of adopting two girls ages 9 and 11 from Latvia and we know first hand how difficult and expensive it is. I just received a copy of the LA times article which I forwarded to my Adoption agency. If your home study and original I600a is still current and has not expired you should be able to be grandfathered in. I will e-mail you the USCIS info I have. I hope this helps you, also the adoption education can be easily obtained for $100USD online at www.adopteducation.com or www.adoptionlearningpartners.org I know you have higher education already but if $100 and compliance is what is needed to get Kristina home I think it's worth swallowing crow! All my prayers are with you.
I am so anxious to know what is happening with your family. Do you have another blog or will you update here.....I know I am being nosy. I watched your video several times and my daughter who is adopted and starting to understand things was very interested in your video as well. We shed a few tears for your family and hope that your are heading home very soon!
